Daniela & Nick - Bows, Pearls, and Pastels - Oh My!

Daniela and Nick got married at one of our favorite venues, Renault Winery. We do lots of weddings at Renault, but this one really stands out due to how we transformed the space to meet the desired vibe and aesthetic.

Daniela wanted to bring a whimsical, feminine, playful energy to the vineyard. Her color palette was a fun mix of pinks, bright greens, baby blues, light purples, and neutrals. We told Kristin of Okay Cool Florals that we wanted the florals and centerpieces to be playful with whimsical details, and she seriously understood the assignment. The centerpieces featured a mix of funky florals, vintage candlesticks, and styled fruit, which the florist accented and adorned with tiny pastel bows, pearls, and gems. These subtle-but-effective accents gave the tables a unique twist and set the tone for a fun night. We brought in textured neutral napkins from Nuage Designs and we had the tables in long serpentine lines to make it even more funky.

One of the statement pieces of the day was the ceremony backdrop. We commissioned Karina Puente, a visual artist who makes custom fabrications, to create a bespoke, hand-dyed fabric backdrop which served as the main visual for the ceremony. Of course, Kristin of Okay Cool worked her magic and brought in organic, textured pillars and vases to make an eclectic floral story to pair with the backdrop. And yes, the bows in the ceremony florals did match the bridesmaids dresses. After the ceremony, we repurposed the ceremony backdrop to serve sweetheart table decor, which made for an impactful design moment.

Custom fabric signage from Sunshine Letter Co. added even more personal and stylized touches. Daniela & Nick offered multiple designs of specialty matchbooks for their guests to take home - the ones with the black leopard are our favorites!

Daniela’s makeup was quite literally flawless - of course, we would expect no less from the iconic Makeup by Brielle. Also, we are still envious of her tousled, effortless hair look from Top Knots by Aimee. Her stunning dress, veil, and accessories were captured perfectly by Young Plant Weddings.

One of the things we love the most about weddings is transforming a space to meet someone’s vision. This one was a transformation we will be thinking of for years to come.
